【Vintage item】On a cream-colored background, a treasure motif (takara-zukushi) is hand-painted in sumi ink. Takara-zukushi originates from the Eight Buddhist Treasures (Happō) and miscellaneous eight treasures (zatsu-happō). The takara-zukushi pattern, which arranges various treasure motifs such as Uchide-no-Kozuchi (magic mallet), Kakuremino (magic straw cloak), Kakuregasa (magic umbrella), Chōji (cloves), and Fundō (weights), has been cherished since ancient times as a very auspicious and celebratory pattern, often used on formal kimonos. This piece features an impressive crest-like design, creating an elegant atmosphere.
