Full order name case
This is a paid option to add names to dance fans and decorative fans.
You can customize your order freely according to your wishes. We will create design proposals and accept changes and revisions, making this option highly recommended for those who want to create a name-engraved fan with attention to detail.
*Full custom name engraving only accepts text. If you wish to include crests, logos, illustrations, etc., please order from Special Design Fans.
・We do not accept orders for name engraving only. Please order together with your fan purchase.
・Changes, cancellations, or returns of ordered items (fans, etc.) after order acceptance are not possible. Please confirm your order carefully.
・After order acceptance, we will create and send you design proposals (up to 3 proposals in total).
*We will send you an email from shop@asakusa-manyo.co.jp. Emails may not be delivered correctly due to security settings or spam countermeasures. Please ensure that you can receive emails from us by disabling spam settings or configuring your reception settings.
・After the design is finalized, we will ship within 10 business days.
*Due to hand-painting by artisans, delivery times may vary depending on the order period and circumstances. In the unlikely event that it takes longer than the scheduled delivery time, we will contact you.
・Once the name-engraved fan is completed, we will send you an image. You can check the finished product, so you can rest assured even if it's a gift.
How to Order Full Custom Name Engraving
1. Add dance fans/decorative fans to your cart.
*We do not accept orders for name engraving only. Please select the fan you wish to have name-engraved and add it to your cart.
2. Select the following items under [Option] Full Custom Name Engraving

Please choose either one side (front) or both sides.
Select Font Size and Number of Characters
From the font size dropdown, please choose your desired font size and number of characters from six patterns.
Extra Small (up to 15 characters): ¥1,320
Small (approx. 2-4cm, up to 5 characters): ¥2,640
Medium (approx. 6-8cm, up to 3 characters): ¥7,920
Medium (approx. 6-8cm, up to 5 characters): ¥10,560
Large (approx. 9-12cm, 1 character): ¥3,960
Large (approx. 9-12cm, 2 characters): ¥7,920
*Font sizes are approximate.
We will create a design with the optimal balance, taking into account the fan's pattern, design, and number of characters.

Add Text
We accept text engraving in up to 3 locations per side. If desired, please select "Add Text" and then select/enter the respective items.
*Medium and Large font sizes cannot be co-written, so only one location per side can be specified.

Please enter any requests or reference information you may have.
・Color specification for each character, position of name engraving, and other requests
・Purpose of creation, occasion of use, and recipient information if it's a gift (will be used as a reference for design creation)

・This is an option for full custom name engraving on a fan, and does not include the fan itself. Please select the decorative fan or dance fan you wish to have name-engraved and add it to your cart.
・The text may not fit as requested depending on the font size, number of characters, fan pattern, or design. In such cases, we will propose an alternative engraving position or design.

Flow from Order to Delivery
1. Order
Please review the ordering instructions above and purchase 【Option】Full Custom Name Engraving along with your desired fan.
2. Creation and Proposal of Initial Design
We will create an initial design based on the pattern, design, color, number of characters, purpose of use of the selected fan, and your other requests, and send you the image.
3. Customer Confirmation
Please review the design proposal and either approve it or request revisions. (*Changes to font size are not possible.)
・We can accept changes to characters, engraving position, color, font, or changes to design characters as requested. It is also possible to provide an image and have it created with your desired typeface or design characters.
・If you are unsure how to order, an artisan with many years of experience in creating name-engraved fans will listen to your desired image and usage scenario, make revisions, and propose it again.
4. Creation and Proposal of Revised Design
We will create up to 3 design proposals in total.
5. Customer Approval and Final Design Decision
No changes can be made after the design is finalized. Please confirm carefully.
6. Production Begins
7. Product Completion and Shipping
After the design is finalized, we will ship within approximately 10 business days.
